Royal Ballet x Cambridge Union

The Royal Ballet is not often a guest in Cambridge, and it managed to fill the chamber of the Union up to its rims. Sarah Lamb and Marcelino Sambé presented two extracts of the ballet masterwork Giselle, which they presented later the same month in the Royal Opera House. Most of the audience probably never had the chance to experience ballet from so close up, and it was also a rare opportunity to photograph the tenderness of ballet from such a unique perspective. After the performance, they also gave an insight into the life of a ballet dancer together with the Royal Ballet Director Kevin O’Hare. Cambridge, 2021
